Man Attacked by Youths on Green Lane in Stockton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 36-year-old man was attacked whilst out walking his dog on Green Lane in Stockton (at the rear of Durham Road cemetery).

The incident occurred at midnight on Wednesday 20th June going into Thursday 21st June when the victim was approached from behind by a group of four or five youths.

All of the males punched the victim and one of them attacked him with a knife.

As a result of the attack the victim sustained black eyes and cuts but thankfully did not require hospital treatment. The dog was uninjured.

One of the males was wearing a black Nike tracksuit top and bottoms and possibly had a mask or a rigid face guard on. This male was the one believed to be carrying the knife.
