Male Robbed in Thornaby

Police are appealing for information after an 18-year-old male was robbed at the junction of Lanehouse Road and Myrtle Road in Thornaby.

The incident occurred on Saturday 11th August at around 6pm when a white Ford Fiesta vehicle pulled up next to the male. Two men got out of the vehicle and assaulted the victim and then took his gold chain and iPhone.

As a result of the robbery, the victim sustained an injury to his leg.

Following the robbery the two men got back into the vehicle and drove off in the direction of Westbury Street.

The first man is described as being a white male and he was wearing a black cap, blue jacket and black tracksuit bottoms with red stripes down the sides.

The second male is also a white male and he was wearing a black cap, black tracksuit bottoms and a black top.
