Appeal as Items are Stolen from Cemetery in Eston

Police are appealing for information after a number of items were stolen from Eston Cemetery.

The thefts occurred between Monday 20th August and Friday 24th August at the cemetery, which is bordered by Church Lane and Normanby Road.

Some of the stolen items include two 30cm high bears, grey in colour with blue noses and holding a stone heart with the name ‘Paul’ in the middle. There were also two spray painted stone ornaments of sleeping cherubs which are silver in colour with a hint of blue that are reported as stolen.
