Man Charged Following Yarm Road Incident

A 32-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and wounding with intent in connection with the serious assaults on Yarm Road in Stockton. He will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning, Tuesday 4th September.

The incident occurred on Sunday 2nd September at 3:25am.

Two men aged 38 and 47 were injured as a result of the reported assaults.  The 38-year-old man is still in hospital where is he being treated for injuries to his head and is described as being in critical condition. The 47-year-old was treated for facial injuries.

The 35-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding with intent still remains in custody.
