Appeal for Witnesses to Collision in Norton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a motorcyclist and a silver Skoda Octavia in Norton.

The collision happened at around 1.40pm on Wednesday 12th December on Albany Road, between Oaklands Avenue and Surrey Road.

The 28-year-old male rider of the motorcycle suffered fractures to both legs, arms and suspected pelvic injuries. He remains in James Cook University Hospital.

The 27-year-old male driver of the car was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of either of the vehicles prior to the collision or anyone with dash cam footage or CCTV which could assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Andy Lawson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 226257.
