Warning Regarding Stolen Medication

Police are warning members of the public about stolen medication which could prove dangerous if taken by someone who has not been prescribed them.

The medication was taken during a burglary at Lloyds Pharmacy at South Grange Medical Centre in Southbank at around 12.40am on Tuesday 11th December.

A quantity of controlled drugs were stolen including methadone tablets, durogesic patches and Oxynorm liquid were stolen, some which were out of date. Non-controlled drugs were also stolen during the burglary.

The medication could be dangerous if taken by someone who has not been prescribed it.

Anyone who may have located any of the medication is asked to take it to their nearest pharmacy or police station.
