Appeal after Delivery Vans are Stolen in Stockton

Police are appealing for information after two delivery vans were stolen in separate incidents in Stockton.

The first incident happened on Tuesday 11th December at around 1.20pm when a white Ford Transit van with a 68 reg was stolen from Dunlin Close as the driver delivered a parcel.

The vehicle is believed to have been driven to the Norton area before packages were transferred to a silver van and the stolen vehicle was abandoned on Bolsover Road, Norton, sometime before 1.55pm the same day. 

The second incident occurred on Wednesday 12th December when a white Transit van, again with a 68 reg, was stolen from the area around Marsh House Avenue and Braemar Road in Billingham sometime between 11am and 2pm. The incident happened again as the driver made a delivery. The vehicle was later found abandoned on Blakeston Court.

Detectives are investigating a possible link between the two incidents.
