Appeal after Man Suffers Head Injury in Alleged Road Rage Incident

Police are appealing for information after a man suffered a head injury during an alleged road rage incident.

The victim, aged 50, was found next to a red Ford Fiesta suffering a head injury on Adam Street, in the Bowesfield Industrial Estate area of Stockton, at around 12.35pm on Friday 21st December.

It is believed that there had been an incident involving the man and another man who was travelling in a white Ford Transit van. The incident is believed to have started on 1825 Way in Ingleby Barwick at the traffic lights with the junction of The Rings. Both vehicles travelled in the direction of Stockton.

The victim was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees by ambulance and he was released from hospital yesterday, Sunday 23rd December. 

Officers would like to appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage which may assist police with their investigation.
