Appeal after Man Receives Head Injuries in Redcar

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered head injuries as he walked along Redcar High Street yesterday evening, Wednesday 27th March, at around 11.30pm.

The 63-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital suffering from head injuries and was released this morning after treatment.

Officers are investigating how the man came about his injuries, and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
It is believed that there may have been a group of teenagers in the vicinity of the High Street and an altercation may have taken place.
