Police Dog Rocky Detains Two People Following Vehicle Pursuit

On Saturday 6th April a Range Rover failed to stop for police in the Stockton area.

A pursuit soon commenced which was soon aborted as it was deemed too dangerous for officers to continue.

Shortly after, the Range Rover collided on a roundabout in the A689 Billingham area and the driver and passenger made off from the vehicle into a nearby field.

Police Dog Rocky was put to the test and impressively managed to locate both people quickly, leading to officers arresting them both.

A man, 36 and a woman, 29 were arrested on suspicion of driving offences and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
