Find out more about the district of Redcar and Cleveland.
Redcar and Cleveland is a unitary authority area with borough status in North Yorkshire, England. The borough was created in 1974 as Langbaurgh, and was one of four boroughs in the non-metropolitan county of Cleveland.
Policing in Redcar and Cleveland is overseen by District Commander Superintendent Emily Harrison.
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Cleveland Police.
The district is split into two areas - Redcar and East Cleveland, and Greater Eston. Chief Inspector Jon Hagen oversees the neighbourhood policing team for the district, and there are two neighbourhood Inspectors - Inspector Neil Deluce, and Inspector Zoe Kelsey.
Inspector Neil Deluce oversees the wards of Belmont, Brotton, Coatham, Dormanstown, Guisborough, Hutton, Kirkleatham, Lockwood, Loftus, Longbeck, Newcomen, Saltburn, Skelton East, Skelton West, St Germains, West Dyke, Wheatlands and Zetland.
Inspector Kelsey oversees the wards of Eston, Grangetown, Normanby, Ormesby, South Bank and Teesville.
