ACC Lisa Theaker joined Cleveland Police in January 2019 as a Detective Superintendent and was appointed as the Head of Protecting Vulnerable People
Prior to this Lisa was a Detective Superintendent and the Head of the Homicide and Major enquiry Team in Northumbria Police. She was a Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) for 8 years investigating and securing convictions for numerous Homicides and serious offences. She is a kidnap and extortion SIO and Senior Identification Manager (SIM) for Disaster Victim Identification (DVI).
Lisa was promoted to Chief Superintendent in August 2019 and appointed as Chief of Staff leading the response to our HMICFRS findings.
More recently, she has undertaken roles as both Strategic Advisor on complex cases (PIP 4) and Strategic Firearms Commander (SFC).
She was appointed as ACC in April 2021.
