Operation Artemis has kicked off and this time we're back in Redcar and Cleveland!

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of criminal property this morning in Guisborough.

Officers have arrested a woman following a warrant in South Terrace in South Bank making four arrests so far under Artemis.
A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A, B and C drugs.

A 28-year-old man was arrested earlier this morning on suspicion of attempted burglary making five arrests in total so far.
Officers remain in the Redcar and Cleveland area as Operation Artemis continues.
Multi agency checks are ongoing at PD Ports with Cleveland Police, the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), Redcar and Cleveland Council, Harbour Police and the Environment Agency.
Vehicles will be checked for any defects and abnormal loads.
Officers carried out searches of garages in Eston as part of the ongoing work today for Operation Artemis.

The vehicle was found to have no insurance and it was seized. Enquiries are ongoing.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on warrant as part of Operation Artemis today.
Robyn and Chris from our Crime Prevention Team were joined by Craig and Sarah from Victim Care and Advice Service (VCAS) at Morrisons in Redcar engaging with the local community.
Engagement is a big part of Operation Artemis and our officers will be on hand if you have any concerns or issues.

Another vehicle has been seized as officers carry out proactive patrols as part of Operation Endurance which tackles off-road bikes and associated anti-social behaviour.
The vehicle was seized for having no insurance.
Two people were also reported for driving offences.
Our PCSOs have been out and about in the community today providing crime prevention advice to residents.
