Another day, another Operation Artemis! 👮 💪
Today's Artemis will focus on the Hartlepool area tackling organised crime in our neighbourhoods.
Officers gathered at Hartlepool Police Station early this morning to be briefed by Acting Superintendent Pete Littlewood to go through the day's activity.
We'll be providing updates throughout the day about the action we have taken.
Officers executed a warrant on Duke Street in Hartlepool this morning.
The warrant was obtained after receiving intelligence from the community.
Two people have been arrested following a warrant on Wynyard Road in Hartlepool.
A 45-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
They remain in police custody.
Following a warrant on Sandringham Road, two people were arrested for a number of offences.
Officers seized a quantity of drugs, believed to be cannabis, and suspected stolen goods.
A 70-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were both arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug, production of a Class B drug, fraud, handling stolen goods and abstracting electricity.
They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
The Matrix Team are out and about conducting patrols as part of today's Operation Artemis activity.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs following a warrant on Derwent Street.
He remains in police custody.
The Matrix Team is in the Headland area checking for off-road bikes and uninsured vehicles using the ANPR system.
