11279- Tool Thefts

I write in connection with regards to your request received in this office on 9^th September.  Please accept our apologies for the late response.  I note you seek the following:

1. How many reported incidents of theft of tools have you received from tradespeople over the last three years?

a) Offences were searched for using the property common name/category of *machinery* which tools are categorised under and the role code of *stolen*. Below is the number of tool thefts and in brackets denotes the number of tools stolen.

2019 – 701 (1237)

2018 – 1117 (2090)

2017 – 1398 (3184)

2. How many of these thefts were reported from the following places during these timeframes?
