11336 - Fixed Penalty Notices
I write in connection with regards to your request received in this office on 30th September. I note you seek the following:
1. The total number of fixed penalty notices that have been issued for speeding by the constabulary in the last year
a) 11924
2. The highest recorded speed ticketed in the area during the last year
a) The highest speed processed through Central Ticket Office was 111mph.
3. The total number of fixed penalties issued for driving while using a mobile phone
a) 193
4. The total number of fixed penalties issued for driving without insurance
a) 569
For each, I would like to know the total number of penalties issued between the 1st of January and 31st of December 2018.
Having made enquiries above is all the information we have been able to retrieve.
