1d) Prosecuted – 372 under 18’s recorded on crimes as being charged.

1e) Convicted - It the duty  of Cleveland Police to identify, apprehend suspects, decisions regarding prosecutions is the responsibility of the Crown Prosecution Service and Convictions is that of HM Courts Service therefore Conviction data is held by HM Courts.

Having made enquiries within the Force we cannot find any information specific to the above question.

We do not hold any specific guidance or policy specific to your questions however we have a Vulnerability strategy (this is available on Cleveland police website) that works in conjunction with the National Police Chiefs Council National Strategy for the Policing of Children and Young People.
