11718 Male Domestic Abuse Victims

I write in connection with your request for information dated 4^th February 2020 and received by this office on 5^th February 2020.  Below are the questions raised in your request and our response.

1) The number of males who reported being victims of domestic abuse between 1^st January 2019 and the 31st December 2019 (or between the 1st January 2019 and the most recently available date that data is available)

2) The number of males who reported being victims of domestic abuse between 1st January 2018 and the 31st December 2018

3) The number of males who reported being victims of domestic abuse between 1^st January 2017 and 31st December 2017

1. a) We have made enquiries with the PQR Performance Team analysts and they have provided the information detailed below based on the number of Domestic Abuse Incidents.

The Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and it should be noted that Police Forces do not use generic systems or identical procedures to capture and record data therefore responses from Cleveland Police should not be used as a comparison with any other force response you receive.
