I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request, Below is your request and our response.
How many call outs do you get per year between 2020-2024 regarding people struggling with mental health?
Method taken: All incidents within the time period of 01/01/2020 – 01/03/2024 that have a mental health marker (either QL32 or MNH) applied on them. Attendance is measured by there being a recorded unit that has attended the incident.
There will be occasions where an officer did attend but it was not captured. We are unable to quantify but we are aware that the system does not always pick up when they arrive.
