I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
Under the FOI Act 2000, please provide me with the number of reports for each of these offences broken down by year (calendar) each of 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019.
Having made enquires in the Force, I have searched for corrosive substances based on the crime codes we have recorded, these are:

In relation to the type of corrosive substance, 8/9 mentioned Ammonia in the MO comments and 1 mentioned no substance:
008/75 - Have a corrosive substance in a public place – 8 related to Ammonia
005/07 - Causing explosions or throwing corrosive substances with intent to do GBH – 1 was unknown substance
