I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request; firstly, I apologise for the delay in responding. Below is your request and our response.
I would like to request a breakdown of the amount of money spent by the force on all public affairs, public relations and communications in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 financial years, and the total spend so far in the 2023/24 financial year.
This includes all spend on the aforementioned fields which includes but is not exclusive to internal communications/public relations staff pay, advertising costs, consultant fees and agency fees.
We can only identify from the financial ledger cost coded to Corporate Communications which is responsible for Communications across the Force.
