FOI 346-24 Sexual Assaults in Gyms

I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request, Below is your request and our response.
Please can you provide me with the number of reports of:
- A) Sexual assault
- B) Harassment
- C) Stalking
- D) Exposure (Sexual Offences Act 2003 Sec 66)
- E) Voyeurism (Sexual Offences Act 2003 Sec 67)
- F) Upskirting (Sexual Offences Act 2003 Sec 67A)
from women at the below gym establishments in 2022 and 2023.

Please use these as keyword searches - I don’t expect you to provide a breakdown of establishments. Please just provide a breakdown per crime type and year.
Please see below table of results, this was collated by searching all validated crimes between 2022 – 2023 where the Offence HO group includes the words: Sexual assault, Harassment, Stalking, Exposure, Voyeurism or Up-skirting and when the victim was recorded as female in the gender field.
We have then searched the common name field of the crime with the list of commonly known gyms – as this field is inconsistently completed, this has returned no results. It is also worth noting a number of these gyms don’t operate within our Force area. A postcode search of the gyms were performed without returning any result.
The below table shows the above Offence HO groups where the MO Location Description is recorded as ‘leisure centre’ as there is no sub-group to show gym or gymnasium
