FOI 545-24 Land rover Theft

Enquiry Reference:  545 - 24                    

 

I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request.  Below is your request and our response.

                                                         

1) Please can you state for theft offences recorded by your force, the number in which the

crime report text (described as modus operandi reports by many forces) contains a mention of "land rover" in each of the following calendar years:

1. i) 2019
2. ii) 2020

iii) 2021

1. iv) 2022
2. v) 2023

 

Please see table below, Theft or Burglary crimes which occurred since 01/01/2019 that had ‘Landrover’ stated in the MO.

2) Please can you provide a redacted copy of the free text crime reports for these offences

recorded by your force in between January and May 2024.

 

Please see breakdown of MO’s between the dates 01/01/2024 – 31/04/2024 as requested.

 

1. During the hours of darkness, suspects have approached the *** car park from an unknown direction and damaged a land rover discovery. the rear window and nearside front window have both been smashed by unknown means.
2. During hours of darkness, unknown suspect attends street and finds land rover discovery parked. suspect drives away vehicle by means unknown and removes battery and tracker.
