I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
1) How many reports of voyeurism have been made to the force in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 (to date)
The table below contains the volume of crimes validated between January 2020 and up to the 1st October 24.
The crime types searched were 088/10 and 088/12.

2) How many of these reports involved footage being recorded onto a mobile phone.
Having read through the Mos, although they do mention being ‘filmed or video’ taken they do not consistently say how the video/pictures were taken.
With this in mind I think it would be a miscount if we provide those which say mobile phone as it’s not recorded consistently.
3) Can I have a breakdown of the ages of the perpetrators, i.e. grouped in ages, under 10, 10-16, 17-20, 21 and above.

5) How many arrests led to convictions?
It is the duty of Cleveland Police to identify and apprehend suspects, decisions regarding prosecutions are the responsibility of the Crown Prosecution Service and Convictions is that of HM Courts Service therefore Conviction data is held by HM Courts.
Please note that all statistical data supplied in relation to Freedom of Information requests is a snapshot of data held at the time the request was received by the Freedom of Information office and is subject to constant change/updates.
The Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and it should be noted that Police Forces do not use generic systems or identical procedures to capture and record data therefore responses from Cleveland Police should not be used as a comparison with any other force response you receive.
