Dear Sir/Madam
Enquiry Reference: 978 - 24
I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
Can you please share with me data contained in reported incidents (eg in STORM's database) which contain the words 'deepfake' and 'porn'/'pornography' from 09/10/2022 to 09/10/2024. If unavailable, can you search the words 'intimate image abuse' or 'revenge porn'.
Please see below the data for crimes validated as this is the only way we can give outcomes and demographics of victims. The data covers 1st October 2022 – 1st October 2024 as this is more comparable than mid-way through the month which would give skewed results for the month.
The analyst searched all MOs for the words deepfake and porn and also intimate and image or revenge and porn.
The only results were for revenge porn which are in the table below.

The below table contains the ages and gender of the victims recorded. Two crimes had the state as victim, that’s why the victims total is lower than the crime total. We can not give the gender and age of those convicted because It is the duty of Cleveland Police to identify and apprehend suspects, decisions regarding prosecutions are the responsibility of the Crown Prosecution Service and Convictions is that of HM Courts Service therefore Conviction data is held by HM Courts
