I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
2a) The number of dogs destroyed in the last three years - broken down by year, by breed and reason for destruction.
Below table shows the number of crimes between 06/04/2022-06/04/2025 broken down by financial year, where and the crime class is ‘008/21 - Person in charge allowing dog to be dangerously out of control in public place injuring any person’. This is then broken down by crime status, and the injury severity as listed on the MO comments. Please note that dog breed is not consistently recorded.
