I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from your police authority. Please may you provide me with the number of Clare's Law applications you have received since the law came into force in March 2014.
Please provide the information in the form of an Excel spreadsheet detailing the number of applications per year, spanning 2014 to 2024 inclusive.
The below table contains the volume of applications received per year for both right to ask and right to know.

Could you please also provide the average time it took to complete each application per year - similarly if that could be provided in an Excel spreadsheet that would be brilliant.
The analyst has taken the data from the days between the application date and closure date then made the table below for the average days per year.
However please note that although every effort is made to ensure that the figures presented are accurate and complete, it is important to note that this data has been extracted from a data source used by the Force for police purposes. The detail collected to respond specifically to your request is subject to the inaccuracies inherent in any recording system.
Care should be taken to understand our return when considering the interpretation or further use of the data
