I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request, firstly please accept my apology for the delay. Below is your request and our response.
1a) Number of violent crimes recorded in schools in each calendar year (separately) from 2014 to 2024.
The below table includes the volume of crimes recorded in the calendar years from 2014 – 2024 which included ‘education’ and ‘school’ in the MO Location Description.
The crime categories included as requested were robbery, violence with injury, violence without injury and weapons possession. I searched for any public order offences but there were no results.
The analyst has highlighted the crime category with the crime types under.
