I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request, firstly please accept my apology for the delay. Below is your request and our response.
On 13 Feb 2025 HRH King Charles + wife visited your area.

301 staff worked this Operation on 13th February (including 8 West Yorks Officers and 8 Met Officers).
In relation to the staffing leading up to the event, the response is No information held.
This is not possible to quantify as some time used was officers normal duty time (‘business as usual ’ BAU) and also various planning meetings that were not centrally co-ordinated and/or the additional hours key roles worked in respect of their planning.
Please note the costs for this Operation have not yet been finalised.
The current estimated cost is £26,885,00 which includes officer overtime, subsistence, vehicle hire and mutual aid requests. This does not include any costs officer’s normal duty time (BAU)
Having made enquiries within the Force above is all the information we hold.
