I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
- The number of crimes reports where a child under the age of 18 was in possession of a weapon on school/further education premises?
For this request the search was for crimes validated in the years requested with a suspect aged 18 or under at the time of the offence and the MO location description included ‘education’.
Some crimes have more than one suspect recorded.

For this I presume it is for the age of the person with a suspect indicator so this is what I’ve provided. I can’t use the age breakdowns requested as they include some ages in both groups (10/12 and 12/14).
