I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
I am curious in regards to what Cleveland's Police callsigns are?
I am wanting to start a roleplay community via the video game GTA5 on FiveM based in Cleveland and I would need callsigns that Cleveland use for realistic patrols.
Basic Structure of a Unit Call Sign
IRT
|
Local Policing Area |
Neighbourhood |
Resource Type |
Shift Identifier |
|
3 |
3 |
1 |
A |
Local Policing Areas:
South:
1 – Redcar & Cleveland LPA
2 – Middlesbrough LPA
North:
3 – Stockton LPA
4 – Hartlepool LPA
If a unit call-sign starts with a number “5”, it denotes that they are a roamer vehicle and cover the central areas of the county, moving between both North and South areas.
Neighbourhood Team
Redcar & Cleveland Police:
1 – Guisborough/Loftus
2 – South Bank
3 – Redcar//Saltburn
Middlebsrough:
1 – Middlesbrough
2 – North Ormesby
3 – Hemlington
Stockton:
1 – Stockton
2 – Billingham
3 – Thornaby/Yarm
Hartlepool:
1 – Hartlepool (North)
2 – Hartlepool (South)
Resource type:
1 – 6: Car
7 – 9: Van
Shift identifier: This denotes which shift/relief the unit is aligned to. It is beneficial when there are overlay shifts on duty.
Specialist Resources
Unlike the above call signs we have aligned our specialist resource call signs to specific vehicles (linked the vehicle radio to the call sign)
All have a B prefix (i.e. B917F)
First number indicates the type of resource
9 – Matrix (patrol/ARV)
6 – Dog unit
Second number indicates type of resource (supplemented by suffix)
0 – Supervisor
1 – Patrol
7 – ARV
Third number is sequential
Suffix used are F – Firearms, P – Patrol, D – Dogs, M – Motorbikes
