I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information. Below is your request and our response.
Please could you provide me with data on the number of individuals arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in the full calendar years 2023 and 2024, broken down by the following:
(i) Nationality
The below table shows the number of arrests between 2023 – 2024 where the arrest reason within the custody record included the word ‘dangerous driving’ broken down by nationality:

The Freedom of Information Code of Practice (see below link) states that a request for internal review should be made within 20 working days of the date on this response or 40 working days if extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be evidenced.
