I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
Please note we are unable to provide the number of betting shops in our area as this is not Police information and
suggest that this would be better suited to direct request to from relevant Councils that license them.
There are MO location descriptions of ‘betting shop’ and ‘gambling/gaming place’ so we can provide separate counts for crimes with the MO location of those.
Below is the number of crime records between the dates stated where ‘betting shop’ appears in the MO location description:

There are no results being returned for ‘adult gaming centres’ in either the Location field or MO comments. The analyst has looked for similar locations and have included the below locations into the table FYI: ‘Leisure; Amusement arcade’ and ‘Leisure; Gambling/gaming place’
