In the 12 months to 1st January 2024 there were a total of 2443 Clare’s Law applications received.
How many disclosures made by the force between 1 January 2023 and 1 January 2024 were completed within the 28-day time frame.

In the same time period 973 disclosures were given or transferred to another force to be given.
Disclosures – non delivery (i.e. can’t locate the person, not together or disclosure refused) and non-disclosures (i.e. duplicate requests, can’t trace subject/person) have not been included in this count.
How many disclosures made by the force between 1 January 2023 and 1 January 2024 took between 29 days and 50 days?

Of the disclosures given or transferred to another force to be given 70 were recorded as taking between 29-50 days.
How many disclosures made by the force between 1 January 2023 and 1 January 2024 took between 51 and 100 days?

Recording of disclosure dates is dependent on the data accuracy and data quality.
Please note that all statistical data supplied in relation to Freedom of Information requests is a snapshot of data held at the time the request was received by the Freedom of Information office and is subject to constant change/updates.
