Applicants must be able to pass a 15m fitness test to level 5.4
- Please confirm the number of dog handling officers that are within Cleveland Police and what is the experience required to become a police dog handler within Cleveland Police?

We currently have 12 Dog Handler Constables. The experience required would be that you must have passed your probationary period to apply for this role.
- Please confirm the number of applicants for the dog handling unit at Cleveland Police and the percentage of those that are successful within the last 3 years?

We’ve recruited to this role once in the last 3 years, with 11 applicants. 4 were successful.
