I write in connection with regards to your Freedom of Information request. Below is your request and our response.
Answer
Having made enquiries within the Force three different crime types were searched for. The old crime code of 008/71 - Revenge Porn - Disclose private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress ceased at the end of January 2024 being taken over by the new crime types below.
Crimes of 008/71 – revenge porn were no longer recorded after February 2024.
The table contains the volume of crimes per crime type validated between 1st January 2024 and 1st January 2025.
