Police are appealing for witnesses after a knife point robbery on Christmas Day, Sunday 25th December.
The incident happened at 11:56am at Jay’s News on Birchington Avenue, Grangetown, when a man stole cash from the till whilst armed with a knife. He then made off on foot.
The suspect was wearing a face covering. He is described as being 6ft tall, with blue eyes, grey hair, with a high pitched voice and a distinctive walk.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have information regarding it, is asked to contact Redcar and Cleveland CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 231134.
