Police are reminding people to secure their vehicles after a number of reports of thefts from vehicles in the Acklam, Stainton and Middlesbrough town centre areas.
Officers would ask that people ensure that they keep their windows and doors locked and keep any valuable items out of view from opportunist thieves.
Police are working to identify those responsible and would ask anyone who spots anyone acting suspiciously to call police on 101.
