A man has been remanded in custody after being charged with possession of class B drugs along with 19 shoplifting offences.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs on Friday 22nd December before being charged and put before the courts.
Gary Harkin, aged 32, from Pallister Avenue in Middlesbrough, appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Boxing Day (Tuesday 26th December) where he was then remanded in custody until a further hearing which is due to take place on Tuesday 2nd January.
