Police arrested a man and woman after a vehicle was stopped for having no insurance in the Elvington Green area of Middlesbrough.
Officers stopped the Ford S-Max and found a large quantity of cash, suspected cannabis, and weapons including a lock knife and two knuckle dusters around 12:30am today, Monday 16th January.
The items were seized and a man aged 29 and a woman aged 34 were arrested in connection with the incident.
The man remains in police custody at this time and the woman was released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
