Man charged in connection with Guisborough burglaries

A 25-year-old man has been charged with five burglaries following a number of incidents reported in Guisborough.

The incidents occurred on Westgate in Guisborough town centre between Friday 12^th May and Monday 15^th May.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this morning (18^th May).

A further arrest was made last night (17^th May) by neighbourhood officers who were out on patrol across Guisborough.

A second 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of burglary, and he remains in police custody at this time.
