Did you witness or capture on your dashcam a collision on the A19 (northbound) on Friday afternoon?
We’re appealing for information/footage as we investigate an RTC involving a white Vauxhall Astra van, a blue Mini and a blue Mercedes.
It happened at 4.15pm on Friday 27th October near Teesside Shopping Park when the Astra, travelling northbound, collided with the rear of the Mercedes and then with the Mini.
The Mercedes came to a stop after colliding with the central reservation and the Astra left the scene of the collision.
A 70-year-old passenger from the Astra is in James Cook University Hospital receiving treatment for broken ribs and a kidney injury.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are underway and anyone who can assist with information or footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 214016.
