Louis McGrother appeared at Teesside Crown Court this afternoon (Friday 23 August) to be sentenced to 20 months for his part in the violent disorder.
The 22-year-old was caught kicking and shouting at Cleveland Police officers before getting hold of a wheelie bin and pushing it towards them as they protected the community.
After seeing his face on the force's wanted list he handed himself in to face the consequences of his actions.
