Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a Ford Focus and a pedal cycle yesterday, Wednesday 4th November, at 7:05am.
The collision, which happened at the traffic light junction on the A66 with Normanby Road in Middlesbrough, left the 32-year-old cyclist with two broken fingers on his right hand.
The 31-year-old man driving the Ford Focus was not injured.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to call 101, quoting SE24229612.
