Following calls from members of the public about antisocial driving in the Myton Road area of Ingleby Barwick, officers attended and carried out proactive patrols.
At around 10.30pm on Sunday evening (15th December), officers stopped a number of vehicles with one driver being reported for driving without due care and attention.
Another driver was given a Section 59 warning for antisocial driving meaning should he do this again, the vehicle will be taken off him by police. Both men were told to leave the area.
Less than a mile away, another vehicle was stopped after officers observed it being driven in an antisocial manner. The driver was reported for driving without due care and attention.
We are aware this is a hotspot area for vehicle misuse, and we are proactively patrolling it to combat traffic offences, reduce harm to road users and prevent any incidents on our roads.
