Police are appealing for information after an eight-year-old boy was seriously injured in a collision on Cargo Fleet Lane last night.
The incident which involved a blue Vauxhall Adam, happened at 17:56hrs yesterday, Wednesday 14 February, on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough, around 20 metres north of Ruth Avenue.
The eight-year-old boy sustained a broken leg and serious head injuries, and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage or CCTV to call 101, quoting reference SE24027349.
