Officers from the Matrix Team arrested five males after a suspected stolen vehicle reportedly failed to stop in Middlesbrough.
At around 12.45am on Friday 2nd February, a grey BMW reportedly failed to stop for police on Cargo Fleet Lane and a short pursuit took place.
A stinger was used in an attempt to stop the BMW but the vehicle continued onto the A66 towards Stockton before it eventually came to a stop.
A 16-year-old, a 17-year-old, two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old were arrested in connection with the incident and they have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
