The burglary is believed to have taken place on Premier Road at approximately 4am on Tuesday 23 January.
An unknown offender, believed to be a man at around 6’1” in height, caused damage to the side of the locked shed.
He then stole a three-wheeled Jorvik red bicycle and a silver/grey foldable electric bicycle and then made off from the scene.
PC Stewart Shepherd, who is investigating the burglary, said: “We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry to find the person responsible and to reunite the bikes with their owner.
“To assist with our investigation, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area in the early hours of Tuesday or has any CCTV or dash cam footage that may show the burglar
“Likewise, if you may have seen the bicycle, know who might have taken it or there has been an attempt to sell it to you, please do get in touch.”
