Man Charged with Two Norton Robberies

A 21-year-old man has been charged by Stockton CID officers following two reported robberies at Betfred on 2^nd January and Johnson’s Cleaners on 16^th January, both in Norton.

The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Friday 19^th January, charged with two counts of robbery and two of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Of four other males arrested in connection with the investigation, three of them were released without charge, and a man aged 20 was bailed on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to a separate incident.
