A 21-year-old man has been charged by Stockton CID officers following two reported robberies at Betfred on 2nd January and Johnson’s Cleaners on 16th January, both in Norton.
The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Friday 19th January, charged with two counts of robbery and two of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Of four other males arrested in connection with the investigation, three of them were released without charge, and a man aged 20 was bailed on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to a separate incident.
