A 40-year-old man has been jailed this week after being sentenced for assault offences.
One incident happened in Stockton’s Mulberry Wynd one night in early February where a man in his 30s was violently assaulted by Michael Parker, 40.
The victim required hospital treatment for several broken ribs and serious facial injuries.
Officers from Stockton CID arrested Parker and charged him with Section 18 assault.
Parker was sentenced at Teesside Crown Court on Monday (15th January), receiving six years and three months for the February assault, and two years in connection with other assaults.
He will also be subject of a 2-year extended licence period.
